My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 200 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 200 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. I will be pedaling harder than ever because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page. This year I am cycling in remembrance of Graham Rennie, who was the church warden at St. Mary's in Wirksworth. Sadly Graham died of cancer two years ago. His widow, Rosie, and I met recently in church and nearly fell out over a stray dog. My family know the Rennies as my step-father, who also died of cancer and who I completed Cycle 200 2019 in remembrance of, used to read with Ruth, Graham's mum, which brought our two families together.
