My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. As many of you may know, in October 2017 my husband was diagnosed with stage IV terminal lung cancer, and from hearing those words our whole world fell apart. The journey so far as been an emotional roller coaster for us all. My husbands treatment so far is keeping him alive, and we can’t thank the doctors and nurses enough. We do not know what the future holds, or how long we have left together, that is why I am doing this challenge to help raise money for research to continue. Not only did we find out in October 2017 about my husband, but my mum too. Devasted beyond words. 😢 Thankfully they are both still with us, this is why I would like to raise as much money as I can for research. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ ❤️

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
