Hello my dearests, Ok, below is my story but before that I would like to leave a little explanation. The hike was originally arranged by Race for Life for 2nd September and unexpectedly changed to 24th June. As some of us couldn't make it we have decided sod it lets do it anyway! Sooo... 4 weeks from tomorrow we will up those cliffs and ridges, sweating, huffing and puffing! And now for the original bit ... I am hoping for your support in raising funds for Cancer Research. Most of you knows my story. We all have been affected by cancer directly or indirectly, it is life destroying nasty wee bugger. Being the lucky one, one thing I can do is to help others that are not as fortunate. So... I have signed myself up for Race for Life Hike (or rather Em did it before I changed my mind!). 20.5 miles (33 km) of killer Purbeck coastal cliffs! I have never done such thing before so it is my personal challenge against age, stiff joints and ever present aches :-p and if I get a beach body at the end of it it will be a bonus (lol I know, hilarious). Anyway, I love this place and doing my challenge in such an amazing setting is going to make it even more rewarding. At the moment the group consist Emily, Charlie, Charlie, Paul, Larry (yes men too as we are not doing it officially through the Race for Life now so we decided they are allowed, mainly as water carries ;p) and who knows might be few others :) it’s going to be really tough but I can’t wait!
