My Story

I have lost a number of family members to cancer and each and every time I hear them dreaded words I fear the worst. I’ve faced watching my nan slowly deteriorate through to her last days in a hospice and it breaks me to this day. I want to raise money in order to help with costs that follow the treatment and supporting of individuals suffering. In memory of my darling nanny Lesley, nanny Lin, auntie Sandra, auntie Annette and cousin Andy. I’d also like to race in support of a lovely young lad in my life who at the age of just 22 is suffering so tragically. After fighting a brain tumour a few years back to having to go through it all again. All he wants is to be able to walk again. Dean your such an inspiration and you have done nothing but fight from the day you was diagnosed. We all love you ❤️. Also a lovely family member of mine who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and won the fight. Love you ❤️ Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
