In April 2018 cancer knocked on my door and shook me to my foundations, as you fight it permeates every aspect of your life, consumes your thoughts, tears at your heart and those of your loved ones. I am so very thankful that (so far) I appear to be fortunate and so It horrifies me to learn that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
