My Story
It’s that time of year again where I am taking up the challenge to walk 10,000 steps a day in March for Cancer Research. While I am undertaking this challenge my thoughts go out to those who have lost their lives to this cruel disease and to the families of those mourning loved ones. This year however, the challenge has personal poignancy as my sister was diagnosed with cancer but thanks to research is responding well to treatment. However, our dear friend Christine Carrick lost her life to this cruel disease after a diagnosis of only four weeks. In memory of all those dear friends who have lost their lives, and remembering those who have fought cancer and recovered, those who are receiving treatment and those who are waiting to start treatment, I am doing this challenge again. Every donation will be greatly appreciated for this worthwhile cause. A’ huile beanachd agus moran taing.
