I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money for the staff and treatments which helped save my Mum
My Story
This year, my mum and I will be doing the 5k Race for Life on the 21st July for Cancer Research UK. This will mark five years since Mum’s initial diagnosis of DCIS (pre-cancerous breast cancer cells). We are hoping that this will be the year that she is fully signed off and given the all clear by the oncologist. We are hoping to raise money to thank the staff who have helped her and been able to give her the treatment for her recovery. Any donations, both big and small, would be a massive help to help fight this disease!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
