My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I am running this and would like to raise money in memory of my grandma Christine. She died from cancer when my mum was only 14 and cancer deprived me of my chance of ever meeting her. It is very important for women, young or old, to be aware of the many forms of cancer that can affect them. I would therefor like to use this opportunity to raise money to help cancer victims and to raise awareness and help women beat in cancer in the future

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
