My Story
I’ve decided to take part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money for cancer research. I’ve always enjoyed running, so why not do it for a good cause? It’s really close to my heart because my dad was given a terminal diagnosis when I was very young, and it was a really difficult thing to experience. I was really lucky because a brand new experimental/trial treatment at the time gave him some extra precious years that I cherish every day! I can only imagine the impact had there been a proper and permanent cure. So here’s to helping fund the research to find that cure. It’s my first race so I’m trying to raise a minimum of £50 and any donations are warmly welcomed! Thank you for reading my story.
