My Story
Hi All, I hope you are well. Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page! Today I will be participating in a muddy 5k obstacle course for cancer research. The course will consist with me climbing over, crawling under and charging my way to the finish line. I'm sure those of you who know me personally can envision how amazingly I will perform. However, let's not forget the cause. The sole reason why I am participating in this event is to raise awareness and to help save lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Cancer is a disease which many families are affected by at one time or another: Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally, and was responsible for 8.8 million deaths in 2015.
