My Story
This year I will be taking part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k on Saturday 25th of September for Cancer Research UK. This charity means so much to me and my family. In 2003, my dad was diagnosed with cancer not long after my brother was born. In 2011, my dad was diagnosed with the same cancer for a second time. Since then, my dad has been lucky to get tests every 6 months and has been cancer free since. I will also be doing this race in memory of my uncle Dave and my great auntie Joan who unfortunately lost their battle. Cancer Research UK has had an impact from the Covid-19 pandemic and I want to help as much as I can. Any donations will be greatly appreciated even if its just something small❤️ Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
