Tom Lennon
My Story
Tom was an absolute legend strong, determined with a zest for life and will to live right until the end of his life. A bundle of love and kindness who would do anything for anyone and always on hand with support and advice. He had prostrate cancer in 2004 and was part of a research project with the wonderful Mr Parr at Claterbridge. The treatment he received was successful and we were lucky to have him in our lives for another 20 years. Sadly Tom didn’t have the same positive outcome from bowel cancer, but we know he would be proud to have a legacy of valuable funds being raised for Cancer Research UK in his name. Thank you from his loving family.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
