Thank you for visiting the Donate in Memory of Ruth page. Three years ago (almost to the day) Ruth was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She endured numerous major surgeries and chemotherapy supported by clinical teams who delivered outstanding care and evidence informed practice. This type of care makes a difference and ensured that Ruth maintained a quality of life which enabled her to have many adventures and create rich memories for herself, family and friends. Memories and a legacy we all will cherish. Cancer Research UK supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses. CAUSE
Bowel cancer
Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
