In Memory of Ruth Johnson

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. It is with great sadness that we mark the terrible news of the death of our much loved Business Beats Cancer Dundee Board member Ruth, who passed away in the early hours of Tuesday 9th November. She fought this awful disease with everything she had, enduring so much pain and suffering along the way, but at the end she looked into her husband Les’s eyes and whispered, “I just want to sleep!” Ruth was the most wonderful, caring person you could wish to meet, she always put others before herself. She was a dedicated & fun loving colleague and was so committed to working alongside us to raise much needed awareness of the human stories that lie at the centre of this terrible disease & the battles that too many families have to face. We'll remember Ruth whenever we wear something yellow, when we hear something that reminds us of her infectious giggle, in our memories of her fun and strength, and her determination to live her life to the fullest 💛🌼 She will be with us as we continue our much needed efforts to support Cancer Research UK (CRUK) & is in all our hearts & thoughts 💔💕 An incredible loss 🥺
