In memory of nan

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This February I’m ditching the sweet stuff and giving up sugar for a whole month to raise money for Cancer Research UK and helping to beat cancer sooner. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK My nan passed away just 5 days after being diagnosed with Bowel Cancer with Peritoneal Metastases. Until 8 weeks before her diagnosis nan was an independent, positive and lively lady full of life and fun, an amazing and inspirational lady who smiled at everyone she met. Nan was kind, caring and shared her loving ways with everyone she met, even strangers. Nan could brighten anyone's day with her smile. Her diagnosis was a shock to everyone who knew and loved her and an even bigger shock that we had such a short time with her afterwards. Nan's palliative care at home made me realise first hand the suffering this terrible disease causes and the sadness it brings to family and friends. I want to do something positive in memory of nan and raise money to help others in the future. Every donation to support my sugar free month, no matter how small, will help.
