My Story

Thank you for visiting this page to donate in memory of our dear mum, Josephine Staple, who had nodular malignant melanoma. Although Cancer Research UK supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses, donations via this page will be used specifically to support research into skin cancer. If you are a UK taxpayer the value of your donation can increase by 25% under the Gift Aid scheme – at no additional cost to you. Please tick the Gift Aid box when you donate.

CAUSE

Skin cancer

Around 37 people in the UK are told they have malignant melanoma (the most serious form of skin cancer) every day. Over the last decade malignant melanoma incidence rates have increased by around a half (49%) in the UK. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to treat skin cancer.
