2021 Great North Run

We are taking part in the GNR to raise money for Cancer Research UK
My Story
Jake and I will be taking part in the Great North Run on the 12th September 2021 in aid of Cancer Research. This is a personal challenge for ourselves which we have been putting off for ages! Unfortunately, we were signed up to participate in the GNR in 2020 however, due to Covid-19 it had to be cancelled. We both have relatives that have been affected by Cancer who have lost and won their fight and we would like to show our support. Jake lost his lovely Nanna to cancer and it is a subject very close to home for him and his family. She would be extremely proud of him! No matter how big or small your contribution is, it will be much appreciated ❤️

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
