I'm walking at Shine Night Walk in the fight to beat cancer.
My Story
I've gone from an unhealthy couch potato to a gym going healthy person (on-going lol) and I really wanted to aim for something and contribute to a good cause. We've all lost someone, known someone or have been affected in someway by cancer. I've lost family and people who I considered family myself. The only way we are going to beat it is to know the enemy. Cancer Research is the way to get as much information about cancer as possible and finally fight back. In the last 10 years we have started but in my opinion we are still not where we need to be in the fight. Please help me fuel the fight and help in someway to get us the rest of the way to make cancer a rarity and not common place.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
