My Story
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work. Donate to my Giving Page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Through the Bowel Screening programme I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2017 and then underwent surgery and chemotherapy with the result that I am still here enjoying my family life. Early detection is key and not only for myself, as other members of my family have also received cancer diagnoses and survived to tell the tale. Unfortunately not everyone is as fortunate and I have also lost family members to cancer, including my father earlier this year. It is now more important than ever that CRUK receive donations to continue their life saving work. Please, if you can, donate to this extremely worthy cause that is very close to my heart.
