My Story
Let's face it, I'm not an athlete, I'm not going to run 10k, nor am I going to to climb 5,000 meters. But I do have a challenge, a challenge of raising £500 by being sober and drinking no alcohol from January 1st until January 31st.. For me this is a big challenge, but the real challenge comes from my friends who are battling cancer, and other life threatening diseases. They are the real heroes,with the fight that goes on much longer than the 31 days in January. I won't name any names, but your stregth shines through during times of adversity, you are an inspiriation to everyone who knows and meets you. In my 15 years of lets be honest, professional drinking, I've never attempted anything like this, I can't promise I won't get grouchy, or bad tempered, but this is a really great caue. If you were planning on buying me a pint this christmas, or perhaps a present, I'd really appreciate it if you donated here instead.
