Myself and cousin Jordana are taking part in the ‘race for life’ to raise money for Cancer Research.

In memory of

Our Grampy

“One day we will beat cancer, the more research we do the sooner that day will come”

Myself and Jordana will take part in the 5k race for life in order to raise vital funds for cancer research. “Survival rates are improving,” all thanks to life changing research. I’m aiming to fundraise £100 for this cause, taking into consideration that just £5 helps to buy essential resources for the research labs.

Our Grampy lost his battle to cancer this Christmas, each day we miss you more and more. The poem Jordana chose to read on your farewell highlights our journey...

“A golden heart stoped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
It broke our hearts to see you go,
God only takes the best.”

“In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.”

“Our lips cannot speak how we loved you,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
But god only knows how we miss you,
In our home that is lonely today.”

Please get behind cancer research, any donations are greatly appreciated no matter how big or small, so we thank you in advance for helping us to help fund cancer research.
