Holly's Race for Life
Wakefield Pretty Muddy 5k 2021
Sat 25 Sep 2021 - Sat 25 Sep 2021
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. I have chosen to do this as cancer has personally effected my family❤️ In May this year following my smear test i was diagnosed with cervical cancer.... I was so lucky to have had my smear and this cancer was found and from amazing treatment provided by our NHS i was told this week that i was Cancer free 🎗️🙌 i am lucky that i will be kept a close eye on for the next 10 year though regular check ups. #dontfearthesmear In 2018 my Dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer, the treatment he received was amazing & he remained clear for 12 months. In 2019 his cancer returned, again the NHS took care of him and he is also all clear again ❤️❤️ 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me and my amazing friends now ❤️❤️.
