In memory of
Carol King
So this year will be 5 years since I did my 1st half marathon at the Great North Run. At the time my mum was battling cancer and doing her best to say "fuck you". Well sadly this time I'll be doing it in her memory after she passed away in October 2015. She waved me over the finish line in 2013 but this time I know she will be running along with me. (Pushing me along) I haven't run properly since mid 2014, I'm overweight, I still struggle with my Achilles which seriously played up during the last GNR I did and I am very unfit and only 4months post partum at point of submitting my entry for the GNR. I need a challenge and I know this is one and I know I can do this....ive done it before. So now I need your help to raise £400 for cancer research UK. Coz cancer is a bitch and I wish more than anything it hadn't beaten my mum Thanks for your support.
