My Story

Still can't quite believe this but I've signed up to do a boxing match with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK! I've got 8 weeks to get in shape before stepping into the ring on the 3rd of October! This is something that is very much outside my comfort zone. I like sport but have never dreamt that I would do a 6 minute boxing match, but that's exactly why I've signed up! Cancer Research UK is a very special charity to me and is also where I've worked for the last 2 years. I've known so many people, some who are very close to me, who have suffered from this horrific disease. I want to raise as much money as I can for this charity who fund life-saving research and challenge myself at the same time. Those who know me well will know that punching someone in the face definitely does not come naturally! But I want to call your bet and prove that I can do this. Any donation big or small for this incredible charity would be amazing and I'll keep you all posted as I do the training and eventually the fight!
