This time last year I was recovering from an operation for cancer and was barely able to walk up hills let alone run up them! Thankfully, I am back to full fitness and able to run the Race for Life. This year I will be running for my friend, Claire, who recently passed away. Claire was a remarkable person: talented, funny, beautiful, incredibly strong, generous and kind. This run is for her, in memory of others I have lost to cancer, and for those who will benefit from the research enabled due to fundraisers like these.
