My Story
Tracie's Story: On 8th April 2019, I lost my amazing friend Steven at only 40 years old. Steven was diagnosed with his first brain tumour in June 2015 when his daughter Sofia was only 2 years old, which he bravely fought and beat following intensive treatment. He went on to marry his beautiful wife Gemma in August 2016, who was about to give birth to their daughter Mila in June 2018, when Steven was given the devastating news that he had a second tumour, which this time was inoperable. Once again Steven fought his battle bravely, with true dignity and humour! (A true reflection of the remarkable person he was). He remained positive to the very end and never ever gave up hope, he had so much to live for. This awful disease robbed Steven of so many precious years with his wife, daughters, family and friends so please support us by donating - every single penny counts. Thanks x Hollie's Story: Throughout my life, since being young I have witnessed and experienced the pain of losing loved ones to cancer. The unrepairable gap it leaves forever in our hearts and our family's is indescribable. I'm completing this run with the hope of making a little difference towards a massive problem, if I can help in anyway to stop another family the feeling of being left incomplete then I will. So in memory of Nannie Joan, Nanna Jean, Granda Brian, Granda Michael, Allison this is for all of you.. Please help us on this journey, its really appreciated. X
