I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer and help support family and friends who have been through this or have lost someone close to them x

My Story

Cancer is happening right now, and like so many of us, I have had to stand back while it has taken the lives of friends, family and loved ones. I want to try and do something to help towards making a change and standing against cancer which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money for cancer research. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me x

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
