My Story

Cancer is closer to home than any of us want to believe. In September 2024, I lost my incredible Nan, my heart and best friend, after a brief but relentless battle with cancer. She was diagnosed in April and from that moment our world was turned upside down. Despite her courage and undergoing radiotherapy, her cancer was untreatable. On the 8th of September, we said our final goodbyes. I'm running this race in her memory, and for everyone who has faced this cruel disease. Cancer doesn't just affect one person - it shatters entire families. I want to help raise the vital funds needed for research - research that could bring us closer to a cure, that could save someone else from the heartbreak we've endured.
