My Story
I’ve decided to take on the challenge of The Great North Run 2021 on September 12th to celebrate beating Cancer. After having Charlie, a lump was discovered in my neck and I was then diagnosed as having Thyroid Cancer at the age of 26 at the end of 2019. Luckily, two operations later, the cancer was gone and no other treatment has been needed (all fingers and toes crossed!). I still meet with my fantastic Oncologist every three months and will be on medication forever but it is a very small price to pay. My aim is to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity. I’d be so grateful for anything you can spare for this truly great cause. The pandemic has really hindered all charities' fundraising and you never know when you'll need this one. To raise more funds, I will be raffling two prizes: first, a basket of alcohol worth approximately £125 and secondly, a bottle of prosecco and wine. Tickets are £1 each. Thanks everyone. xxx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
