Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As some of you may be aware, last September our wonderful Mum was diagnosed with Cancer. Seeing someone you love and care about so dearly in so much pain is heart-breaking. Knowing that you cannot do anything to make the pain go away or make them feel better is so hard. But lucky for us Mumma Bear is the strongest lady that we know and has fought back. She’s has had some amazing help, support and treatment from the medical staff that have looked after her and fortunately for us just recently Mum was told that her treatment was working and at this moment in time no longer requires any more treatment. The hospital and medical staff that have helped, supported, looked after and even chatted with Mum have been great and we are forever grateful for everything they have done to help Mum get better. So as a thank you for the amazing work they have done to help Mumma Bear get better, Sam and I have decided to run Race For Life this summer. We are running it because we are so thankful for everything the medical professionals have done. So as a thanks we want to help raise money, so that more awareness, more support and more treatment is about to help and support those who unfortunately also have to go through this terrible time.
