I've been convinced to strap myself to a big fella on 22nd October 2016 and trust him not to squash me as we jump out of a plane together. Please give generously! All proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK, or to the fund for the Recently Widowed Wives of Hiten, depending on how things go*. I'm doing this for Stand Up To Cancer - an annual event which funds translational research (I'm not quite sure why they can't call it "finding new treatments" instead, but that's scientists and their fancy words for you). 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, so donate now: you, your family and friends will reap the rewards. * For the benefit of my most literal-minded of friends (you know who you are), all proceeds go to Cancer Research UK.
