I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to support beating cancer.
My Story
It's hard to believe that in 2018, cancer is still indiscriminatingly affecting so many people lives. I have personally lost loved ones and in my professional capacity, recently experienced the devastating loss of a much loved member of my school community who left behind three beautiful babies. Most people I know have either been affected personally or indirectly by cancer. Cancer is indiscriminate in who it targets and it is happening right now which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
