My Story
This September I'll be taking part in my first Race for Life, raising money for Cancer Research UK. After my Gran died last October, it was discovered she had cancer in her stomach which made her last few weeks unnecessarily painful. My gran is one of the nearly 4000 people in Cornwall who are affected by cancer each year, which affects themselves and their loved ones. Because of this, I'm joining the incredible group of people who are fighting to beat cancer sooner. If you could spare even £1 to go to Cancer Research UK, it could help to save a life. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
