Hero Assault Run

This Saturday I will be running 5 miles (ha!) whilst hurtling myself over a lot of stupidly sized, muddy and quite frankly disgusting obstacles all in the name of fun and fitness! It is the Hero Assault Course on Avenham Park in Preston. I was meant to do this run last year, but then fell pregnant and the organisers suggested it wouldn’t be the safest thing to do whilst growing a little human, so allowed me to defer my place to this year. Last year I had trained, I was fit, strong and overall pretty healthy. This year I am none of those things! So if you have a spare penny or two- and want to donate to a good cause, whilst giving me some inspiration to dig deep whilst I am digging deep through mud it would be hugely appreciated :-)
