My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 200 page. I've cycled over 3000k this year, and achieved @Strava Local Legend awards 31 times. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 200 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. This year, I have reduced my goal to 200 miles, as I had a fall in February two years running, from my bike, and the injuries (the first to my elbow and the second to my knee), took a long time to recover from and were quite painful, so I am not going to overdo it. I am over half a century old, after all... Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page. Thank you so very much.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
