Henry is aking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner
As most of you know Henry was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukamia in 2011 when he was just 2 years old. He completed a lengthy 3 year course of chemotherapy in 2014 and he’s now the happy and healthy 9 year old he should be. Over the last 7 years we have raised over £10, 000 for Candlelighters, a children’s cancer charity which helped us in our time of need. Now that Henry is well it’s his turn to give a little back in his own way, so he will be running the kids tough mudder with a group of his school friends in June this year. Many of you have already helped with our fundraising but this is particularly special as Henry is taking part in this.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
