I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to prevent this awful disease!

I completed in the 10k at Clumber Park at the end of June, managed it in a steady time of 1hr 8 mins. I was extremely proud of myself, as it was a very hot day and far more hills than I expected. But I did it and I know Bev was with me along the way. One more race next month Pretty Muddy 5k, this one is for more for a bit of fun with friends whilst raising money at the same time. Cancer takes people too soon, and having recently lost a very dear friend of mine I am more determined than ever to raise as much as I can. Not only this but in memory of loved family members, as well as friends who continue to fight against this god awful disease. The shocking statistic that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime makes me want to raise as much as I can. Every single penny/pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please dig deep and sponsor me!
