Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Cancer research is a cause that has been very close to my heart forever. Many members of my family have fought the battle against cancer, some winning and some losing. This challenge will be personal. My walking gives me time to reflect on the people that have lost the battle and will allow me to concentrate my thoughts on the people that continue to fight. The last year has been hard for everyone worldwide, a family support system has never meant so much. Time with loved ones has never felt so important. Let's beat cancer so that we can all appreciate longer, fuller lives with our nearest and dearest.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
