My Story

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK just giving page. This July, I will be going on a little trundle up some rather splendid mountains (hills for my motivation) with some lovely people from my gym and a local rugby club, Sale RUFC. We are doing this to raise funds for Cancer Research UK in memory of Jonathan Smith. Jonathan and I met at the CrossFit gym in Sale Moor and was taken from us far too soon. Jonathan was a similar age to Lee and I. Jonathan had a family and his whole life ahead of him. The money raised will help fund life-saving research to help bring forward the day when all cancers can hopefully be cured.

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
