Helen's Tractor Run 2019
Total raised
£1,170.00
+ £232.50 Gift Aid
I'm driving a different tractor this year but the cause is the same. Last year I raised £1000+ This year, with your help, perhaps I can beat that! CRUK is a vital charity in the fight against cancer.
This will be my 6th year of entering the Pink Ladies Tractor Run but the 16th year of the event and so far it has raised over £640,000 for the charity. We're aiming for the million now! Very sadly, the owner of the tractors I have driven since I started, Peter Seaman, died in December 2018. So, I now have a 'new' (to me) tractor to get to grips with. It's an International 784 and is a little larger than both of the previous tractors. I hope you will donate to this amazing and very worthwhile cause. Without the work done by Cancer Research UK there would be fewer survivors of this dreadful disease that strikes in so many forms. With your donations CRUK can also continue its work on finding a cure. If you can, please come and cheer the tractors as they make their way along the 20 mile route. It's a sight well worth seeing!
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
