Please support my Race for Life at Home "60, 60, 60" challenge!
Normally, at this time of year, I would be joining thousands of others around the country, taking part in "Race for Life" to raise money for Cancer Research. This year, I have decided to do my own "60, 60, 60" challenge. I worked out that over the years I have been taking part in Race for Life, I have been sponsored to run over 60 miles. In the 60 days leading up to my 60th birthday, I am aiming to run a further 60 miles (97 km), and hopefully raise around £600 in the process! Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
