I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
My Story
I was diagnosed with Grade 3 invasive Breast Cancer at 32 years old. A mum of two, I have undergone grueling treatment including chemotherapy, 3 surgeries and radiotherapy. I'm taking part in race for life to support those affected by cancer. I hope many join in on the day but most of all lots will raise money for such a worthy cause. I am not a runner myself so this is out of my comfort zone but I'm hoping a brisk walk will help with my fatigue cancer treatment has left behind.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
