My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Keira and her best friend Amy persuaded me and Jo to take part in the Maidstone Race for Life. Obviously we will be walking round, but the girls have already made us start a 'training' programme. Originally I didn't want to do it, but remembering how strong my dad was in his own recent battle, made me determined to do this with a big smile on my face. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
