I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
In memory of
Ray Kirby and Robert Catterall
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Hello! Anyone who knows me knows I am not a runner, so this will be a big challenge! However, it is nothing compared with the challenges faced every day by people living with cancer and for those left behind. I have lost two beloved uncles to cancer, and my wonderful auntie is still fighting. I'm also lucky enough to know people who continue to be in remission from this awful disease. I'm racing for all of them, and also for my amazing cousin who is a cancer nurse - thank you for all you do.
