My Story
Sunday is always runday for me, but this week its a bit different. I've entered not one, but two Race for Life events on the Nottingham Embankment, 10km and 5km, and am aiming to run a marathon during the course of the morning. It will be hot, tiring and I don't want to think about the blisters - but this discomfort is nothing compared to how hard chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments can be. Since my own cancer diagnosis, aged 32, far too many of my dear family and friends have been affected by this disease, with two close family members currently going through treatment and awaiting results. This ones for you. Any donation, no matter how big or how small will spur me on to keep running on Sunday and will make a difference in the fight against cancer. Thanks, H x
