Well it’s official, I’ve lost my marbles and signed up for a 5k Race for Life! Anyone who knows me, knows this is no mean feat for me and a real challenge! So why am I doing it....well that’s simple...cancers a bitch and needs to be told where to go! In 2016 we lost my darling mum to cancer then in 2017 my dear sister in law was diagnosed with and is fighting cancer...well I don’t want cancer to hit my family again or anyone else’s so as much money as possible needs to be raised to stop it in it tracks! That’s why I’m putting myself through the challenge of running 5k! I know for many 5k is a walk in the park....trust me it’s not for me! But I will do it! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
