Dess and I are stumbling along this 5k course in order to raise money to fight cancer. So many people we all know are affected - directly or indirectly - and we'd like to do something to help. This stumble is particularly to honour the challenges faced by my work colleague Yasmin, and whilst I can't promise we'll break out of a walk, we still hope to make a difference.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
