My Story
Hi everyone, my daughter has signed me up for race for life in October, we are going to be tackling 5km to give cancer a run for its money. I lost my dad in Jan of this year and before that, I didn’t really think of how much cancer impacts a life, my dad lost his partner (my step mum) only a month before he lost his, the only comfort I get is that they are now together again. Not only has my Dad suffered from cancer but also my Nan Dwight, uncle Patrick and thankfully the 2 other members of my family have fought it successfully! That’s my aim, I want cancer to have a higher survival rate, so please if you are in a position to donate then please do, it would mean so much to me and to so many other families that have gone through or are going through this horrible disease.
