I'm taking part in race for life so people don't have to go through the same suffering and heartbreak that my family went through when we lost my Grandad.

My Story
After experiencing the devastating impact that cancer has on an individual and their family I want to make a difference. Running a 10K is going to be a tough challenge but I will be motivated by the memories of my Grandad and the thoughts of everyone who is fighting or who has fought cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
