Helen's muddy run for Cancer Research
Maidstone Pretty Muddy 5k 2019
This charity is close to my heart because me and my partner both lost our grandads to cancer, and I watched my mum go through breast cancer. There was nothing I could do but watch as she suffered through chemotherapy and radiotherapy, losing her hair, and the awful side effects afterwards. She recently achieved 5 years cancer free and I'm so lucky and grateful to have her with me still, as many people have lost their loved ones. Let's do something fun to raise money to help make chemotherapy kinder and beat this awful disease in the nearer future! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please give what you can.
